Is your charity or organisation supporting vulnerable or older people struggling to survive this winter?

MK Community Foundation’s Surviving Winter Appeal has generated funds to now distribute for vulnerable people facing winter-related crises and concerns. Grants of up to £1,500 for winter related needs are available to local charities and organisations (working with vulnerable people) who have the capacity to purchase and distribute critical items such as blankets/duvets/bedding, portable heaters, electric blankets, warm clothing, emergency food and draft proofing etc

Grants could also be available to provide means to prevent winter-related social isolation and mobility, for example, transport costs and means to prevent winter-related health concerns amongst vulnerable groups. Grant Application deadlines are on this Friday (27/1), February 24, and Friday, March 30. Application forms are available to download from the website Please apply using the Small Grant Application form or contact MK Community Foundation on 01908 690276 to find out more.
