THOUSANDS of people will have an opportunity to pay their respects to our war heroes at a number of Remembrance Day services on Sunday.
In Stony Stratford the procession will begin at 2pm in the car park at The Cock Hotel before members of the Royal British Legion march to the war memorial at Horsefair Green.
In Newport Pagnell there will be a procession through the High Street starting at the Health Centre car park at 10.15am.
The march will lead through the town centre up to St Peter and St Paul’s Church where names of those who lost their lives in conflict will be read out before a two minute silence is observed at 11am.
In Wolverton, the procession will take place from St George’s Church from 10.30am, and arrive in the town square for 11am. In Bletchley, the procession will meet at Bletchley Park Mansion at 10.15am before making its way to the St Mary’s Church memorial with all welcome at the RBL club, afterwards. The first pillar at the city’s newly launched Rose memorial at Campbell Park will be unveiled tomorrow. People are advised to arrive by 10.45am.
