Art at the Edge celebrates 2012 Olympics

In celebration of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Art at the Edge, an arts organisation based in Bath, have organised a public art project to explore the links between art and sport.

To celebrate the skill and dedication of Paralympic athletes the Open University in Milton Keynes are hosting an exhibition of twelve of these sculptural studies which have been specifically inspired by Paralympic sport. These are on exhibition at the Open University Library, Milton Keynes from the 18th January until 14th March 2012.

All the sculptures in the exhibition are for sale. Profits from the project will go towards helping disabled and disadvantaged young people through the life changing work of the Youth Sport Trust and the British Paralympic Association.

Talk by the curator of the exhibition will be held at the Open University Library on Wednesday, February 15 from 6pm.  Anyone who would like to attend please RSVP to to receive an official invitation.
