On the Verge has produced two new children’s publications detailing the fascinating story of how Milton Keynes has developed over the last 50 years and before, to celebrate MK’s 50th Anniversary

The publications - completed with an expert team including writer Rachel Barnett, illustrator Sian Sharp and graphic designer Daniel Chehade - are aimed at two age groups Travelling in Time (age five-11), and MY MK (age 12-18).

Both tell the story of MK in a unique way, using research undertaken as part of the Underpasses project and the iRemember events with the communities surrounding CMK.

The two publications printed will be handed out to six local infant and primary schools in the estates participating in the underpasses project: Conniburrow, Downs Barn, Fishermead and Oldbrook. They are also available from public and school libraries.
