Attempted robbery in Milton Keynes

A would-be thief tried to grab a mobile phone as the victim walked his dog in Milton Keynes on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old victim was using his phone between Conniburrow Place and Speedwell Place when the offender attempted to steal it at 12.30pm.

The phone fell to the floor and both men tried to get it - but the offender was unsuccessful.

He then kicked the 25-year-old in the ribs and legs and ran off.

The offender is a black man, 6ft 1ins tall and of a skinny build with dark coloured hair.

He wore a red hooded top with blue writing on and the hood worn down, he wore black jeans and Reebok Classic trainers.
