A Milton Keynes businesswoman has bagged a hat-trick of awards recognition for her innovative range of functional yet fashionable bags.

Charlotte Jamme, founder and MD of Mia Tui bags, in Great Linch, Middleton, won a Silver Practical Parenting & Pregnancy Magazine Award 2012/13, for her Minnie Amelie bag in the Best Changing Bag category.

The Minnie Amelie has also been shortlisted in the 2012/13 Mother & Baby Magazine Awards in the Best Travel Product category. This year’s gold, silver and bronze winners will be announced on November 28 at the Hilton Park Lane.

Charlotte’s third award recognition is inclusion in the Top 100 of the Mumsclub 2012 Business Awards, as voted by her customers and supporters. The awards aim to seek out the national top 100 mums in business in the UK.

Charlotte said: “Receiving recognition in these awards is hugely important to a small company like ours and a fantastic achievement.

“The icing on the cake is being voted into the Mumsclub Top 100 – I feel very honoured to be included and am very grateful for everyone who voted for me.”

Charlotte developed the Mia Tui bags while living in Vietnam, where the bags are designed and made. On the outside, they look like fashionable handbags but inside, they have different-sized pockets so essentials including mobile phones, pens, keys, water bottle can be stored safely and are easy to find.
