Axe-wielding man attacks car outside Halloween party in Milton Keynes

An angry axe attack took place outside a Halloween party on Friday night.

After shouting abuse at passersby in Melrose Avenue, Bletchley by the entrance to the Royal British Legion club, a man hit a nearby car with the weapon at around 7.30pm.

No one was injured during the attack.

The offender is white, in his twenties, 5ft 6in and slim. He was wearing a navy jumper and dark jeans.

PC Shane Richardson said: “There was a Halloween party at the Royal British Legion Club in Melrose Avenue at the time of the offence and there may have been people attending the party who saw the offender and witnessed his behaviour.

“I would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen what happened.”

A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this offence and has been bailed until 27 November.
