Bletchley Park wartime thriller The Imitation Game has been nominated for nine BAFTA awards - including the Best Actor gong for star Benedict.

The film tells the story of the work done by the Bletchley Park codebreakers, and the key role they played during the Second World War.

It has been nominated for Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Adapted Screenplay, Editing, Production Design, Costume Design and Sound.

And while Cumberbatch could be in line for an award so could his co-star Keira Knightley, who received a nomination for Supporting Actress.
