A bag of cash was stolen from a car parked outside a busy shop on Saturday afternoon.

A man, 41, parked parked his Land Rover in the car park outside Marks and Spencer in CMK at about 2.30pm.

When he returned 15 minutes later, he found the car’s rear side window had been smashed and a bag containing cash had been stolen.

Witnesses saw a man, who was driving a black Vauxhall Zafira, acting suspiciously in the area.

He is white, about 30-years-old, about 5ft 8ins, stocky, with short dark shaven hair.

He was wearing cut-off denim shorts, a grey vest and dark hat.

PC Richard Crooks said: “I would appeal to anyone with information, especially if you saw a man, who was driving a black Vauxhall Zafira, acting suspiciously in the area, to call police via 101.”

> A 46-year-old man from Bletchley was arrested in connection with the offence and has been released on police bail until October 15.
