Taxi passengers were greeted by an unfamiliar site last week - Batman, Robin, and a giant lion and panther.
Skyline Taxis teamed up with community radio station MKFM on Tuesday and Wednesday (September 3-4), treating all customers who requested a “superhero cab”.
These passengers were greeted by Batman and Robin, who were raising funds for the Milton Keynes Hospital children’s ward campaign Leo’s Appeal. Also present were hospital mascot Leo the Lion, plus Samantha the Panther from MKFM, and passengers were asked to donate their fares to the appeal. The two-day appeal raised £350.
Skyline managing director Gav Sokhi said: “It’s been a pleasure supporting Leo’s Appeal this summer and being able to help children in hospital. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our customers who helped us raise such a fantastic total.”
