Ben Westlake, a clarinet player from Milton Keynes, was an outstanding woodwind finalist in BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2010 and will play at the theatre in Wavendon on Sunday, June 12 in a bid to raise money to go to college in America.
At The Stables concert Ben will be playing a range of music including opera, romantic music, and jazz influenced pieces.
And the theatre have kindly agreed to give Ben 60 per cent of the ticket sales to support his studies in America.
He is also being supported by the MK Community Foundation, which is helping to fund him in the States.
Bart Gamber, a spokesman for MK Community Foundation said: “From time to time we meet rare talents like Ben and on this occasion we were delighted to be able to offer him much needed support from our Elizabeth Howe fund.
“We look forward to hearing Ben at The Stables before he heads off to start his exiting new tuition in America.”
