A city restaurant is offering curry-lovers the opportunity to have its award winning head chef cook for them wherever they choose.
People can choose to have a romantic meal for two or have a party of six catered for at any destination thanks to Calcutta Brasserie, Stony Stratford.
From tomorrow until Sunday 14, the UK celebrates National Curry Week and through auction website, Ebay, the public can bid for Calcutta Brasserie’s Head Chef to cook a three course meal for up to six people at a desired picturesque location in the city.
The winning bidder will be invited to choose dishes from the restaurant’s à la carte menu and select their preferred date. A marquee will be provided by the restaurant and a waiter will serve each course, including a bottle of champagne.
Mo Abdul, proprietor at Calcutta Brasserie said: “This is a really unique experience and a rare opportunity to offer diners. It’s fantastic to be involved with National Curry Week and to donate money to the charity with help from our diners.”
Last year the restaurant raised £205 for the Curry Tree Charitable Fund and all funds will be donated to the same cause.
