Blakelands Hospital launches new urology service

Blakelands Hospital in Milton Keynes is pleased to announce that is now offering a new Urology service to patients from Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.

David Munt, general manager for Blakelands Hospital, said: “This new urology service means we are able to continue our support of the NHS and help alleviate wait times by offering patients opportunity to see a Urologist at Blakelands Hospital.”

Urology is the diagnosis and treatment of conditions involving the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive organs.

Two consultant urologists, Mr Sanjeev Taneja and Mr Liaqat Chowoo are due to start seeing patients at Blakelands Hospital from next week.

This service is available to NHS and private patients, either self-paying or using private medical insurance.

For NHS appointments, patients should ask their GP for a referral to Blakelands Hospital.

Private patients can call 01908 334207 for appointment enquiries and costs.
