THE DANGEROUS junction where Trafalgar Avenue meets Standing Way is to be investigated by Milton Keynes Council.

Councillor Mick Legg wrote to the council to alert them to the accident blackspot in Bletchley, highlighting the possibility of further accidents as people pull out onto the busy A421 duel carriageway.

Writing to Councillor Legg, the council said: “From analysis of the Personal Injury Collisions data and site observations, Thames Valley Police and the Road Safety Team recommend that the gap in the central reserve should be closed. Currently we are seeking costs for the highway works for the closure.”

Councillor Legg said: “I am working closely with the council. They are being very helpful and supportive. We are a long way forward but more needs to be done.”
