Body found in Milton Keynes believed to be missing George Lanigan
A man's body discovered in Newton Longville at the weekend is believed to be that of George Lanigan, who went missing in June.
A member of the public called police after the discovery on Saturday morning, and Thames Valley Police is preparing a file for the coroner.
At this stage there appear to be no suspicious circumstances.
While formal identification has not taken place, officers believe the deceased is Mr Lanigan, and his next of kin have been informed.
