Movers and shakers at a city school are thrilled their dancefloor antics have raised £5,568.66 for the NSPCC.

Pupils from Two Mile Ash School pulled on their dancing shoes to take part in the charity’s Buddy’s Big Workout danceathon last term.

Assistant headteacher Kimberley Kemp said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed the danceathon and we are so proud of the incredible fundraising efforts of our pupils, their families and our staff, who all got involved in this event.

“The NSPCC works tirelessly to support those children and families who need extra support and we are so pleased that our money will go to such a worthwhile cause.”
