A 16-year-old was stabbed in the leg during an altercation in a city underpass last night.

The teen was rushed to Milton Keynes Hospital, but later transferred to an unknown hospital for treatment where he remains.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, say police.

Officers were called to an underpass near Ardwell Lane in Greenleys at around 7.35pm to reports of an altercation between a group of youths.

It is not yet known how many people were involved in the attack, which has left the boy - who lives in Milton Keynes - with serious leg injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses. Call 101 if you witnessed anything.
