Boy fights for his life after being hit by a car

A five-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being hit by a car as he walked in Monkston.

The child is being treated for serious injuries in John Radcliffe Hospital following the collision with a black Vauxhall Insignia.
It happened at around 1.50pm on Sunday afternoon in Wood Spring Court. The vehicle stopped at the scene.

Sergeant Graeme Hughes said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or anyone who has any information about the collision in which a child was seriously injured.

“Any information may help us with our enquiries and help us to establish the circumstances of the collision.”
