A Newport Pagnell home that was forced open and searched by burglars is not believed to have had any belongings stolen.

It happened on Wolverton Road, between 4.45pm and 10.30pm on Thursday when offenders attempted to force a rear window of a property with a tool, before forcing the back door to gain entry.

But after a search of the property, police believe the offenders left empty-handed.

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Wendy Cissell from Milton Keynes police station via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
