Emergency services have rushed to Milton Keynes hospital after a "suspicious substance" was found on the site.
The substance is being investigated but health bosses say there is no "immediate" threat to the public or hospital staff.
A spokesman said: "There are a number of emergency services attending the investigation of a suspicious substance on the hospital site. There is no immediate threat to the public or staff. Hospital services are unaffected."
