Award-winning Indian restaurant Calcutta Brasserie celebrated its sixth anniversary with an evening of live entertainment, which raised £400 for city charity Leo’s Appeal.

The fine cuisine included a glass of champagne upon entry for guests, a three-course meal and a selection of speciality starters for all to try.

The entertainment was led by Britain’s Got Talent dance group 3B whom taught a Bollywood dance routine to all that attended.

To raise money for Leo’s Appeal, several local businesses and retailers donated prizes for the charity raffle which included: Lego, Frosts Garden Centre, Lush, MKFM, Millie’s Cookies and some champagne from Calcutta Brasserie and Leo’s Appeal.

Guests were also treated to a goodie bag and there were henna artists for complimentary mehndi decorations for the guests.

Manager Ali said: “We would like to thank all of our wonderfully loyal customers who we have been a pleasure to serve over the past 6 years.

“This year we decided to raise money for Leo’s Appeal which is a great cause and we would like to thank the retailers and businesses that contributed prizes.”
