The Milton Keynes branch of a multinational business and financial advice company Grant Thornton has a new boss.
David Newstead has been promoted to practise leader at the branch in Silbury Boulevard and is responsible for 150 partners and staff with a regional responsibility to further develop the business in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
His predecessor in the role, Malcolm Gomersall, has been promoted to a new role of regional managing partner central region, covering Milton Keynes, the East of England and East Midlands.
Mr Newstead has a 22-year career in professional services and joined Grant Thornton 12 months ago as partner in assurance. He said: “The Milton Keynes office has delivered a strong result for the year, which is ahead of expectations and testament to our core strategy and the hard work and vision of the people within the business.”
