INTERNET provider BT is offering firms in Milton Keynes a free trial of what it says is some of the fastest superfast broadband in the UK.

Businesses served by the town’s Bradwell Abbey exchange are being asked to test drive the latest ‘fibre to the premises’ technology for download speeds of up to 100Mbps and upload speeds of up to 15Mbps.

Firms within Broughton (west of Broughton Brook), Kents Hill, Loughton, Middelton, Monkston, Monkston Park, Shenley Lodge, Walnut Tree, Walton Park, Willen, Woolstones and Woughton on the Green can sign up.

Businesses have until March 5 to register. The trial closes on June 5. Visit http://business.bt.com/broadband-and-internet/internet-access/broadband/high-speed/register/

Residents are already testing the service and the trial means businesses can join without spending a penny. John Weaver, BT’s South East regional director, said: “Milton Keynes is at the cutting edge of BT’s roll-out of faster broadband.”
