Leading members of the Milton Keynes business community were given complimentary betting chips during an evening visit to a new casino in the city.
One of the lucky recipients from the Milton Keynes Business Leaders Partnership (MKBLP) party won £70 for charity.
The MKBLP were strong supporters of the Aspers bid for the casino two years ago.
The support was based on their commitment to assist the community, take on local unemployed workers and to utilise the strengths of Milton Keynes College to train staff.
Speaking after the event, Philip Smith, chairman of MKBLP said: “It was a great opportunity for business to come along and see the extent of the new offering which is not just about gaming; the casino has excellent facilities and is an ideal venue for business activities in the future.”
MKBLP focuses on lobbying for five key areas identified as fundamental to the success of the city: Transport, smart cities, health and wellbeing, the knowledge-based economy and international sporting city.
