Make a date for the Milton Keynes Business Awards

Organisations across MK are reminded to enter their business in the

Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards (MKBAA).

The best of business will be recognised and celebrated at a black tie awards evening at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at stadium:mk , on March 20.

Presented by Milton Keynes Business Leaders Partnership (MKBLP) in association with Interdirect, the awards will cover a wide spectrum of businesses. The ten categories include:

• Community Impact

• Construction and Built Environment

• Design and Creativity

• Enterprise and Innovation

• Environmental and Corporate Sustainability

• Hospitality and Leisure

• International Trade

• Logistics and Distribution

• Professional Practice

• Retail Business

There is also an award for overall ‘Business of the Year’. Philip Smith, chairman of MKBLP, said: “Local businesses are doing outstanding work by providing goods, services, employment and training opportunities for this city while supporting the regional and national economy.

“These awards will raise awareness of the extraordinary talent we have and I urge all local businesses to prepare and submit their entries as soon as possible.”

Nicholas Mann, Interdirect managing director, said: “I passionately believe the achievements of businesses should

be recognised and celebrated on an annual basis.

“And I am delighted we have secured major Milton Keynes businesses as the awards’ sponsors.

Proceeds from the event will go to a charity fund administered by Milton Keynes Community Foundation to foster business.
