Milton Keynes College has offered a new home to the Institue of Directors.

The IoD is the latest business organisation to take advantage of the facilities on offer at the new Milton Keynes College Silbury Campus.

The regional branch of the IoD will officially move in next month although members are welcome to start using the services available immediately.

Jane Horridge, Director for Business Engagement, Marketing & Communications at the college, explained: “We’re delighted to be going into partnership with the IoD. Silbury Campus and its Business and Leadership Centre offers a really versatile space for the regional members to use on a drop-in basis.

“We’re proud of the excellent facilities for companies which we have on offer and it makes sense to bring business professionals into the site.”

Silbury Campus is located within a five minute walk from the Milton Keynes Central train station. The campus will enable members of the Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire community free use of open plan work space and discounted access to the modern facilities and equipment in the meeting rooms as well as some business training programmes delivered in first-class surroundings. The Business and Leadership Centre at Silbury Campus will also offer free use of Wifi throughout the building as well as access to great value printing and photocopying services.

Dr Peter Parkes, vice chairman for the region:, said “Access to IoD’s headquarters in Pall Mall is seen as a key member benefit and we are pleased to be able to offer a local business facility for people in and around MK. We have already held a number of events with the centre and are keen to develop the relationship further.”
