editorial image

Business leaders will be finding out how employing apprentices could help them in their companies when they go on a fact-finding visit to Milton Keynes College in February.

MK College principal and chief executve Dr Julie Mills will give an overview of apprenticeship schemes to members of the newly re-envigorated Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Institute of Directors (IoD).

The event from 6pm-8pm on February 13, will be hosted by MK College at its Woughton Campus, in Leadenhall, and will be followed by a tour of the new Innovation & Technology Centre, refurbished at a cost of £6.3 million.

MK College works with around 600 employers through a combination of apprenticeships, professional qualifications and commercial training.

More than 1,000 staff work for the College, making it one of the largest employers in Milton Keynes.
