A deal to save one of the Phone 4 U stores in Milton Keynes has been agreed.
Mobile network firm EE have paid £2.5million to buy 58 stores, saving 359 jobs.
These stores, including the Winchester Circle store at Kingston retail park, which will be re-branded to EE.
The transaction includes Phones 4u’s interest in the 58 stores’ leaseholds, but does not include store inventory which will be recovered and realised separately by the administrators.
Four other Phone 4 U stores, in Queensway, centre:mk, Silbury Arcade and within Currys PC World, are understood to not be included in the deal.
