Dine in the Dark at Calcutta Brasserie

Calcutta Brasserie

Calcutta Brasserie

A CITY restaurant is set to keep diners in the dark at a special culinary evening – but there are no secrets to be had.

Stony Stratford based Calcutta Brasserie will be hosting its popular Dining in the Dark night on Wednesday, November 21.

The evening marks the first anniversary of last year’s successful event.

Guests will arrive at the spectacular historic 17th Century building, in St Paul’s Court, High Street, Stony, which will be submerged into total darkness with a candle lit pathway to guide them to the restaurant.

To add to the evening’s ambiance, tranquil music will be played while guests are greeted with a champagne reception before being blindfolded to try a specially designed menu set to tantalise taste buds.

Proprietor, Mo Abdul, said: “Dining in the Dark has been extremely popular with customers and there’s always a great buzz when we hold the evenings.

“We are excited to be celebrating the first anniversary and plan to continue the success of these nights.”

To reserve a table for the ‘Dining in the Dark’ experience people can contact Calcutta Brasserie on 01908 566577. The set menu costs £19.95 per person.
