Age UK Milton Keynes is holding Bobble Day to help make winter easier for more older people

There are estimated to be more than 7.500 older people struggling to pay their heating bills in Milton Keynes.

So now, the new city branch of the Age UK charity is appealing for businesses and residents back its Bobble Day appeal to provide support to people living in fuel poverty.

The charity has put together a range of fundraising ideas - including wearing bobble hats to work - and has fund-raising packs.

There’s also a Zumbathon on Sunday, January 27, at Oakgrove Leisure Centre, Venturer Gate, Monkston, that people can attend.

For more details, contact fundraising manager Suzanne Campbell by phoning her on (01908) 557891.
