BUSINESSES near Milton Keynes have teamed up to offer more services to customers.

Amanda Dunn of Billy One Horn vintage caravans, Helen Wood of Experience the Country, both in Newton Longville, and Jo Caldwell of Rubys Vintage Teas, in Colchester, Essex, have put together Vintage Hen Parties.

While outdoor activities and events experts Experience the Country, at Hounslow Hall Estate, doesn’t have accommodation, Billy One Horn has vintage caravans. Miss Wood said: “I read an article about glamping (glamorous camping) becoming the fastest growing trend, loved the idea and felt it would provide the missing accommodation we were often asked for.”

At the same time Mrs Dunn, in Whaddon Road, was seeking a suitable glamping site for her vintage caravans and Mrs Caldwell was looking for opportunities to expand her Vintage Teas business.

And working together is helping develop other opportunities, too.

Miss Wood added: “In today’s economic climate, it is especially important for businesses to work together. Vintage Hen Parties, offers a great opportunity for our respective businesses to flourish under one umbrella.”
