BUDDING entrepreneurs in Milton Keynes are being targeted as part of a national recruitment drive.
TaxAssist Accountants is looking for potential business owners to provide tax and accountancy services in the new city – and there’s no requirement to be an accountant!
David Paulson, franchise recruitment manager for TaxAssist Accountants said: “Milton Keynes has a thriving small business community, which is why it is firmly on our radar for our next period of growth. Many budding entrepreneurs who have harboured ambitions to run their own business are put off because they think there is no finance available, but banks are lending where the business models are sound and with successful franchise operations, the formula is tried and tested.
“Some of our most successful business owners are from banking, financial services and accountancy backgrounds, but there are no ‘typical’ career paths, because they can employ accountants and tap into the network’s technical specialist team. What they share is a real affinity for the clients they serve.”
The owner of TaxAssist Accountants Milton Keynes will join a network of nearly 200 independent firms, which together earned more than £25 million last year, serving more than 40,000 small businesses. The network enjoyed 16 per cent growth last year and includes operations in Bedford, Leighton Buzzard and Aylesbury.
