MIKE Robinson, pictured, has been appointed as senior partner of business adviser PwC’s Milton Keynes office, more than 20 years after playing his role in helping to start it up in 1987.
He has taken over the position in Midsummer Boulevard from Andy Groves, who has been the senior partner since 2007. Andy is moving to the firm’s Cambridge office to head up the local tax practice.
An assurance partner with expertise in carrying out audits and providing strategic advice to businesses across a variety of industry sectors, Mike moved back to Milton Keynes from the West London and Birmingham offices in 2009, to support the firm’s continued expansion in Milton Keynes.
Since returning to Milton Keynes, Mike has been struck by the entrepreneurial spirit he has found among locally-based businesses
He said: “There is a can-do attitude at the heart of the local business community, which is very refreshing.”
