THE Milton Keynes office of national solicitors’ company Shoosmiths has joined in the glory of becoming the first top 100 law firm to achieve the Investors in People Gold Standard
Shoosmiths, which has a branch in Witan Gate West, has joined an elite band of just 6.6 per cent of all UK companies to be awarded the prestigious standard.
Investors in People undertook a nine-day assessment against 39 standard criteria and a daunting 157 for Gold – a total of 196 evidence requirements. Shoosmiths met 183 of 196 total criteria, surpassing the minimum 167 requirement for gold status by 16.
Shoosmiths’ HR director, Louise Hadland, said: “Our focus is to put in place strategies that allow people to flourish as individuals and to work collectively to deliver excellent client service.”
