Clients past and present joined staff and friends of Interdirect at a celebration to mark the company’s 18th anniversary.

A total of 50 guests attended the event at the Hub to enjoy a champagne reception and canapés. There was also a chance to go down memory lane thanks to a timeline of Interdirect’s company milestones and industry events, displayed around the venue alongside a show reel of some familiar faces from the ID team.

Nicholas Mann, founder and managing director of Interdirect said: “After 18 years, a period of retrospection is, I guess, appropriate.

“It helps us to take stock and to develop the confidence and enthusiasm to push on into the future. Interdirect’s evolution shows that we dare to be first, we dare to be different and this outlook is one we’re carrying forward with us into our 19th year and, hopefully, many more years to come.”

Fulfilling its reputation as a vibrant and innovative full service agency, Interdirect implemented a multi-channel social media campaign during the build-up to ID18. #ID18 consisted of 18 tweets with a twist from @Interdirect, giving followers the opportunity to win 18 prizes, worth £18, for 18 days, simply by replying with the hashtag. The Twitter competition proved a great success with followers increasing by 26%, combined with consistently high interaction rates. Tweets collected from the #ID18 campaign were featured on a live Twitter feed at the event, allowing guests to tweet their birthday wishes to Interdirect straight from their smartphones.
