A RAPIDLY expanding IT services provider opened a new office in Orpington, Kent, on December 1, just one month after cutting the ribbon at a base in Stirling, Scotland.

Lightsout Computer Services, on High Street, Woburn Sands, has made its latest move to be closer to 20 of its IT services customers. The company has increased its employee count from 14 to 38 in just two years.

Tim Usher, director of Lightsout Computer Services, said: “We are delighted to open a new office in Kent. Expanding into new regions across the UK meets some major objectives in our business plan. Up until opening the local office, we were remotely delivering support services to clients in the region. The new office helps to increase our capacity across the southern counties.”

Over the past year, Lightsout has won the NJUG (National Joint Utility Group) Quality Award and Bright Sparc Awards at Cranfield University and featuring in the final shortlist of the National Business Awards and the Annual HSC (Highways Authorities and Utilities Committee) Awards.
