Job growth at Milton Keynes firm reflects city’s ‘improved’ economy

An office of accountants and business advisers in Milton Keynes has taken on 17 new staff with more to follow.

Mazars,in Midsummer Boulevard, now has 170 people working at The Pinnacle but is looking to fill a number of vacancies, up to partner level.

Stephen Eames, Mazars’ Milton Keynes managing partner, said the recruits were primarily across audit, tax and financial planning.

And he indicated the improved Milton Keynes economic climate was a significant factor.

“It reflects on-going growth and ambition across the practice and the requirement to build our teams in what we see as a positive business environment.

“We continue to recruit and have a number of vacancies we are looking to fill. These range right up to partner level. We would be very interested to hear from good candidates.”

The latest recruits are Abigail Monkton, Lloyd Cross, Euan Fraser, Andrew Blackmore, Qasim Ahmed, Christina Shortland, Megan Bone, Robyn Kennedy, Charlotte Browning, James Green, Ciara Ryan, Alan Lester, Pippa Smith, Nicholas Hamilton, William Godsave, Laura Thursfield and Paul Simmons.
