A Chinese takeaway in Bletchley town centre has been named as one of the UK’s top takeaways.

Golden Palace in Queensway collected the accolade from hungryhouse.co.uk based on customer reviews, its number of return customers, the food hygiene scores, and how rarely they turn down orders.

The website rates it as the ninth best takeaway in the UK out of more than 10,000 businesses.

Customer service manager Jessica said: “We started ten years ago, and moved further up Queens Way to our current restaurant 18 months ago.

“The key to running a successful takeaway restaurant is quality control, customer service, and making sure your customers don’t have to wait too long for deliveries.

“We know a lot of our customers by name when they come into the shop, and our regulars won’t go anywhere else.”
