WORKSHOPS will be held in Milton Keynes in March to help transport firms deal with Olympics-related problems in taking goods to London during the games.

Transport for London (TfL) has identified the new city as a ‘hotspot’ area where many companies supply the capital for its Freight Advice Programme.

Two free workshops are planned in Milton Keynes on March 22.

The games will involve road disruption due to events and restrictions on the Olympic Route Network. Firms are being advised now to take steps to reduce, re-route, re-time or re-mode deliveries wherever possible.
