Mobile phone store to host first business networking meeting

A guest speaker will talk about how to use social media to benefit business at a mobile phone store in Milton Keynes later this month.

The conference room above the O2 Telefonica store, in Silbury Arcade, will be the venue for the outlet’s first business networking meeting from 6.30pm on November 28.

Simon Partridge, manager of the store, said the evening will be themed similar to any normal business networking meeting with each company given a slot to do a 60 second pitch and the opportunity to swap contact details. He added that there is no membership cost.

The evening will also be used by the outlet to explain its Priority Moments app which gives customerslocation-based deals.

The outlet is looking at organising another networking event in the new year.
