More than 1,500 visitors signed up for business expo

Gurus of business growth will be kicking ideas around at a football stadium today (Friday).

Organisers of Business Expo 3.0 say something like 1,500 visitors have signed up to attend the day-long event at stadium:mk, in Milton Keynes.

The expo will will be opened by business minister Lord Younger with both Milton Keynes MPs present and see speeches, workshops and display stands booked by 100 local and national start-up UK businesses, global organisations such as the Toyota Group, Santander, Costco, Phillips, Scala, professional membership organisations and the UKTI under one roof.

Business Expo 3.0, founder Victoria Beale, said the event would give the city a boost, following the demise of Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce.

Victoria, of Newport Pagnell-based business, Rapid Sales Solutions, said: “After the sad news that the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce closed its doors, Business Expo 3.0 will pick up the flag that Milton Keynes has been flying to mark the city as a major UK destination for international business and entrepreneurship.

“With over 1500 visitors booked to attend the event and a wealth of exciting brands exhibiting, Business Expo 3.0 will unite some of the most influential business minds under one roof for one very special day.”

Sponsored by Mazars the event is marketed as the first national and international business exhibition at such a large scale to be held in Milton Keynes.
