A FOUR-DAY motorshow will be held in a Milton Keynes shopping centre from Thursday, January 13 to Sunday.
The world’s first fully hybrid luxury compact car will be showcased in Middleton Hall, at thecentre:mk, exhibiting the latest car models from a diverse range of brands.
Also on show will be a heritage sports cars with technically advanced engines, and a Formula 1 team car. Organisers expect the show to bring in more than 110,000 visitors.
Two highlights of the show include the showcasing of the new pre-production Lexus CT 200h which has been named the world’s first fully hybrid luxury compact car.
Local Morgan dealer and Lotus repairer, Allon White Sports Cars of Cranfield will be also be exhibiting two cars from its Morgan sports car range of traditionally styled cars. The hand built Morgan Plus 4 and a plus 4 Roadster utilise a 2 litre Duratec engine from Ford.
Graham Davis, sales manager of Pilling Mazda Renault in Westcroft will be exhibiting the Renault F1 team car that was used in practice, for the 2008 Grand Prix. He said: “We hope to attract a big crowd to see the F1 racing car, but we also want to make the stand fun and interactive for the whole family so we are also bringing our Mazda 5 Doodle car! The doodle car is wrapped in vinyl to allow children to doodle and draw pictures all over the car so everyone who visits can make their personal mark.”
