A Wolverton company’s success in international awards has been officially recognised in the city.

ID Medical, which has about 300 staff at its base in Mill Square, won the The Best Recruitment Company to Work for (£40-100 million) title in the Recruitment International Awards 2013.

Mayor of Milton Keynes Brian White attended an evening’s celebrations at the company, a multi-disciplinary healthcare recruiter, earlier this month. It culminated in a spectacular fireworks display.

Deenu Patel, managing director at ID Medical, said: “Attracting, retaining and promoting top talent within ID Medical is a key priority and I am elated that we have been recognised as the best-in-class employer by Recruitment International.

“I know that we have the best learning and development training in the industry and the business’s success is somewhat owed to the quality of continual professional development and the training our workforce receives.”

ID Medical was established in 2002 and provides medical staffing to both the NHS and private medical sectors. It holds preferred supplier contracts with more than 80 per cent of hospitals nationwide and supplies more than two million hours to the NHS per annum.

This year has seen ID Medical in the annual Recruiter FAST 50 league, Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for 2013, Investec Hot 100, Recruitment International Top 250 and the REC IRP Awards 2013.
