New office block to open for business in Central Milton Keynes

The first Grade A office block to be built in Milton Keynes for nine years is close to seeing its first tenants, Grant Thornton, move in.

The £12m project was developed by Frontier Estates on land owned by Milton Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP) on Avebury Boulevard and was built by Northampton-based Winvic.

The 40,000 sq ft, five storey building is known as Victoria House and will provide work space for more than 300 people. It will not only secure a solid future for Grant Thornton in the city it will also attract other companies.

MKDP chief executive Charles Macdonald says: “The completion of this exciting commercial building marks a significant step forward in the city’s aim to improve the supply of high quality office accommodation.”

Frontier Estates director Mike Mansell says: “We are proud to have led the development of this pivotal site which we hope will be the start of the revitalisation of Milton Keynes as a regional business hub.”
