Positive options
A free breakfast seminar is to offer guidance for financial advisors supporting struggling businesses out of the recession.
The talk by business rescue and recovery company Leonard Curtis is called 'Positive options in a recessionary market'.
It runs from 8.30am to 10.15am at Milton Keynes Hilton Hotel, in Timbold Drive Kents Hill Park on Wednesday, April 21.
The event is aimed at anyone who advises businesses facing financial difficulties, as well as staff in banks or finance institutions, working in lending, risk or credit functions. The seminar will tackle:
- Dealing with creditor pressure and negotiating HMRC time to pay arrangements
- Cashflow, collections and enforcement
- Distressed funding packages including government and regional funding support schemes for SMEs
- Positive rescue procedures with conditions necessary for successful restructuring
- SIP 16: pre-packaged administrations
- Directors' duties
- Employee claims and rights in insolvency
- Asset recovery and protection.
