A HOMEBUILDER has sold 64 properties in Milton Keynes, valued at £14.4million, in the past 12 months.

Country & Metropolitan Homes says it has had a record year with sales at Redhouse Park and Linford Reach developments in Milton Keynes representing a 52 per cent increas in year-on-year sales.

The two developments, situated in the Linford Lakes area of Milton Keynes, comprise of two bedroom apartments and three-, four- and five-bedroom houses, with prices starting from £209,950.

Elaine Dufaur, sales and marketing director at Country & Metropolitan Homes, said: “This level of sales is almost unheard of in the industry at present, but it proves that the property market is still thriving in Milton Keynes and that these developments are attractive to homebuyers.

“We will be releasing a further 40 units over the next 12 months so it’s encouraging to see that people still feel confident enough to invest in new property in the area and we hope to record a strong start to sales in 2012.”
