A VILLAGE pub has introduced a new menu for visitors who are unable to eat gluten.

The Galleon pub, on the banks of the Grand Union Canal at Old Wolverton, estimates there are around 2,500 people who suffer from coeliac disease.

Sarah McEwan, head cook at The Galleon, explains: “I have worked as a cook for around 10 years and have noticed an increasing number of people asking for gluten free meals.”

The Galleon even sources gluten free sausages from Three Little Pigs’ butchers based in Great Brickhill.
