ACCOUNTANTS based in Milton Keynes will swap the bottom line for the finishing line when they take part in the inaugural MK Marathon next year.

Accountancy firm Mazars, based in Midsummer Boulevard, has signed up three members of staff for the full 26.2 miles and is also one of the sponsors of the event on Sunday, April 29 next year.

Four teams from Mazars have also signed up to take part in the Geoffrey Leaver Corporate Relay Challenge, which is open to all businesses with an MK postcode.

Debbi Armstrong, business development manager at Mazars, said: “We are proud of Milton Keynes and are keen to be involved supporting the local community and raise much- needed funds for local charities, especially with central grants becoming ever more dissipated.”
