A TEAM of charity fund-raisers have got the bug for dare-devil stunts after raising more than £3,000 from a skydive.
The four from Mazars’ Milton Keynes-based restructuring services team, set their target at £500 each but had to revise this upwards as they floated 10,000 ft down above Hinton Airfield at the end of March.
Team member Carly Young, who is based at The Pinnacle, in Midsummer Boulevard, said she would skydive again. She said: “ I now know how nerve-wracking it is so I would take more time to enjoy it and appreciate the experience.
“We’d like to take on other challenges in the future too. Maybe a bungee jump or even climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
Carly and her colleagues Ashley De Ville Oliver, Louise Smith, and Bea McClurg, chose to support The Prostate Cancer Charity as two of the girls have had immediate family members affected.
She added: “Our original target was to raise £500 each but we’ve already beaten that and hope the final total will be well over £3,000.” They were financially backed in their tandem jumps by colleagues at the tax and advisory services company.
