UNDER 18s and aspiring web developers will be able to try building their own apps, visualisations and projects using government data at ‘hack event’ from August 1 to 5.

The free Young Rewired State 2011 will be held at the National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park. It is one of 12 such events around the country.

Chris Monk, learning co-ordinator at The National Museum of Computing, said: “It’s the coolest place imaginable to create your own software.”

At the end of the week, all projects will be presented at a prestigious event in London.
